The Lightboxes give the possibility to create backlit fine art prints even of very large dimensions of excellent quality. Thanks to LED technology we can have vivid and contrasting works that shine with their own light.
In addition, the fine art prints made by our laboratory with the inkjet technique or with that of the LAMBDA digital enlarger photo impression maintain a dynamic range and details unattainable by other technologies.
To the complexity of fine art printing is added that of the design and construction of the chassis which will then house the diffuser panels and the attached LED lighting apparatus.
When we talk about fine art backlit panels we have to start with prints on opal supports that we perform either with ink jet or even better on Duratrans photo paper printed by our Lambda digital enlarger.
But we are only at the beginning of the production flow as the print will be mounted on a plexiglass panel specially worked to diffuse the light of the LEDs controlled by an electronically regulated electrical system.
Everything is then contained in a wooden or metal chassis that hides the wiring and holds the backlit panels firmly. Everything can have the most varied formats: starting from small lightboxes made entirely of 30 × 30 plexiglass up to the creation of 120x180cm double-sided works.
Being complex structures equipped with electrical equipment, it is essential to guarantee their stability and safety.
